Big season ahead
This is an opening post to our Skinbased blog. We'll be posting updates, presentations and tips in this blog.
We have totally turned our mind towards the upcoming winter. For this season we re-designed the whole line-up and added two completely new styles. We are bringing a whole new version of our flagship KAR 147 and a long-awaited Skinbased ski for kids – called the POH 100 into our collection. A junior version of our EA Universal Binding completes the offering.
Inspiration from the wild nature of Finland
The look of the Skinbased ski line is whole new. We chose some of our favorite animals from Finnish nature as themes to each ski style. The fall's new ski line is covered with a wolf, an owl, a raven, a lynx and last but not least, Mister Fox on the kids' ski.
We at OAC live close to arctic wilderness and that is the source for our ideas and the true test environment for all of our products and materials.

Something special for smaller users
During the past seasons we have received plenty of inquiries for a Skinbased ski specially made for kids. We are now happy to introduce the brandnew concept for juniors – POH UC 100. We wanted to keep all the same characteristics of our skis, just scaled them to a size suitable for the smaller users. We recommend the POH for users from five years of age and up. New POH UC features our patented Unicoat base, mohair-mix skin and gentle but sturdy composite edges. Our EA Junior binding allows the use of most winter boots available. These skis are super light and really maneuverable – a dream choice for all the children who like to explore the wintry nature.

Skinbased Ski, Le Ski-Raquette, Skishoe, Karvapohja - you name it!
Our skis will be available in more countries and doors than ever before. The word of Skinbased skiing is spreading and more and more users are enjoying the winter with our products.
There are many names for the sport; we call it Skinbased skiing and simply want people to have fun in the backcountry.
Let's hope the winter will be snowy!

From Finland with love!
Your Mo-hairy OAC Team
